Nominate your favorite businesses & individuals for 2018 Chamber awards no later than THIS FRIDAY, November 30

It is that time of year again…time to nominate YOUR favorite businesses and individuals for the 2018 Chamber awards. Awards will be presented at the Carthage Chamber of Commerce 2019 Annual Banquet on Friday, January 18.  Find the nomination form on our website or contact Mary Jo for more information at mjlittle@carthagechamber.com.

 

Holiday Window Contest

The Chamber invites all retail, restaurant, professional, and service businesses to participate in the 2nd Annual Holiday Window Contest. In keeping with the Carthage Christmas parade, the theme is “Mele Kalikimaka: A Hawaiian Christmas”. Use your creativity to create a magical window that will brighten up Carthage for Small Business Saturday on November 24th, the Mayor’s Christmas Tree lighting and Christmas parade on December 3rd, and shoppers throughout the holiday season. Suddenlink Communications' Carthage retail store is partnering with The Salvation Army of Carthage to host an Angel Tree this year! They have an Angel Tree set up at the store for customers, community members, and employees to select a child and donate this holiday season. The Salvation Army in Carthage is collecting Angel Trees until December 14th and donations will be accepted at the Suddenlink store, 2540 Grand Ave.
