what is Leadership Carthage?
Leadership Carthage is a dynamic leadership development program powered by Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CWEP) and the Carthage Chamber of Commerce, bringing together emerging and established leaders who are committed to strengthening the Carthage area community.
The Program
Beginning January 14, 2026, participants will take part in sessions running January through May, meeting two days per month for an in-depth look at the people, organizations, and systems that shape our community.
Throughout the program, participants will explore topics such as healthcare, education, utilities, governance, civic organizations, motivation, and leadership skills, while building meaningful connections through collaboration and hands-on experiences.
The journey culminates with participants being formally recognized at the 2026 Annual Chamber Banquet in June. We are excited to see this outstanding group grow as leaders and make a lasting impact in the Carthage community.
