Yesterday, a Chamber member asked me what the deadline was to be included in the member calendar of the monthly newsletter. Seems like a simple question, but the discussion that followed really surprised him as to the amount of marketing opportunities his Chamber membership afforded him.

I’ve heard it said, both in my pre-Chamber business days and even since, that it’s just hard to get out of the office for an hour to network when one could be “getting real work done”.
I couldn’t believe so many felt that way then….and I still can’t.

The Chamber Banquet: A Black & White Affair

A black and white palette invokes an often formal, always striking party landscape. Carthage’s annual business celebration, the 2014 Chamber Banquet, will have both! We are celebrating this year with a lavish black and white theme, complete with lush decorations provided by Florette by Countryside and Legacy Events at the Congregation of the Mother Co-Redemptrix (CMC), 1900 S.
