Chamber News
Two National Marketing Opportunities
Chamber staff will be attending national training conferences in June and January, during which there is a silent auction held to raise funds for scholarships.  Silent auction items often highlight the community or businesses of a particular attendee’s hometown.  If you would like to introduce Carthage to hundreds of conference attendees from across the country and a few internationally, consider donating an item from your business or organization.  Mary Jo will collect items for the June conference until May 25, and Neely will collect items for the January conference until December 21.  For info, contact either Mary Jo or Neely.

Our Birthday/Community “Thank You” Party Needs YOU
Plans are coming together for the 7th Annual Chamber Birthday and Community “Thank You” Party, and we are looking for new ways to make the event fun for our members and the community.  If your business/organization would like to host a table from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, June 1, we just ask that you provide a free game or activity.  Other activities include free brat lunch and shaved ice, fire truck tours, crafts, and more.  For info or to sign up, contact Neely at 417-358-2373 or nmyers@carthagechamber.com.
