Maple Leaf News
Official 2018 Maple Leaf Artwork Chosen
The planning committee for the 52nd annual Maple Leaf Festival has selected the winning artwork for the 2018 festival. Area artists, students, and residents were asked to submit work to represent this year’s theme “Magic of Maple Leaf”.  Chamber staffer Mary Jo Little submitted the winning design but kept her submission a secret from the committee until after they had voted among all the artwork entries and selected hers. The artwork features an oversized orange maple leaf emblazoned with the theme and surrounded by swirls of stars. The artwork will appear in coordinating marketing, including the official brochure for the annual city celebration with events spanning seven glorious fall weeks in Carthage, and will also be printed on official festival gear.  For info, contact Mary Jo at 417 358 2373 or mjlittle@carthagechamber.com.
